The night at YongFeng “real mingsu” was great. No frills. Clean. Nice people.
We got some breakfast from local store (and 7-11). Turn back about 5km to see what we missed…. Quite interesting sights. Then moved on towards the south.
Pissily shore tribe…
Shimen rest stop – nice view out to the ocean.
Tropic of Cancer marker – many buses… thus people. We stopped to take some “me too” photos. Also had sword fish roe sausage.
70km from the day’s starting point, we reached Little Horse cafe (more accurately, the Girl-friend), which turned out to be an excellent stop. The cafe owner’s name is Happy! She quit her job, rented this little house to run a cafe. She wanted to learn more weaving techniques from the local tribes here as her mom who had passed on taught her about weaving too. She was very good with coffee concoction and food creation. The entire deco was quite whimsical too. Enchanting place.
When we finally reached Taitung. It was dark. Found the accommodation and the owner guided us to open the door and found our room key.
