6:27am scheduled sunrise…. But too cloudy that morning.
We had a wonderful breakfast. Food was set out very nicely. Children were entertained by the birds (little parrot?) and rabbits too. Nice seaview beckoning.
Walked down to the beach. Interesting view from here. Wind was very strong.
We invited the only other guest in the resort…. Forgot her name…. to the HaiJiao work room – to learn about wood artwork.
Huang laoshi was very fascinating person. He was very knowledgeable and generous in sharing. We were greatly educated…. And learnt a bit more about how some people felt about local government (wink wink).
High quality stone from the volcanic ground in this region. High quality wood taken from the island by the numerous typhoon every year, and returned to shore every now and then.
9 puppies rescued by QianHui jiejie totally captivated the children.
Not forgetting the illegal campfire… and the failed BBQ Banana.
By the time we left, it was almost 5pm.
So we managed to get only to Shoufeng… and found a local house cum Mingsu…. The real stuff.
